Rationale
Probably not significantly absorbed. Observe that grapefruit juice (CYP-inducer!) should be avoided for use as an agent decreasing intestinal mucous secretion in Taenia infections.
Chemical description
Vermicide used against Taenia and Diphyllobothrium. Aministered as tablets in a single dose of 2 g (adults) Absorbed only to a very small extent. Inhibitor of CYP 2D6. South African list: No data/avoid
